Job Description

The purpose of this job is to drive visual storytelling on the Pilot communications team along with strategy and channel optimization.

  1. Lead the ideation and creation of internal and external communications content, including video, audio, newsletters, blogs, podcasts, owned sites and social channels etc.

  2. Lead the publishing and managing of editorial content on the company’s intranet and external newsroom.

  3. Manage the content communications team (2 team members), providing direction and support of their portfolios, team member development and other duties.

  4. Refine and manage the process of internal communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  5. Partner in tracking and executing communications plans and initiatives; input updates into the communications tracking system and calendar.

  6. Align with partners and clients in maintaining brand voice and feel across internal and external communications channels.

  7. Support marketing department and executive-led initiatives including the review and editing/proofing of key communications materials as needed.

  8. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.

  9. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3+ years' experience in production, broadcast, newsroom or public relations

  • Experience working within a large, matrixed organization preferred

Specialized Knowledge

  • Intermediate Salesforce skills a plus

  • Experience with content management software and editing equipment

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills

  • 15% as nessesary
